ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited names Shyam Srinivasan as Non Executive Independent Director effective April 15 2026 subject to shareholder approval
Shyam Srinivasan has been appointed as a Non Executive Independent Director and Additional Director on the board of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited with effect from April 15 2026 subject to shareholder approval. The appointment reflects the company’s focus on strengthening board expertise in banking and financial services.
Srinivasan previously served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Federal Bank for 14 years where he led the bank’s expansion across India and drove the adoption of digital systems. During his tenure he worked on improving asset quality enhancing customer engagement and strengthening organisational processes.
Following his retirement in 2024 he took on the role of Non Executive Chairman at Fedbank Financial Services and continues to advise financial institutions. With more than three decades of experience he has built deep expertise in banking and financial services.
He began his career with Citibank and Standard Chartered focusing on consumer banking and retail financial services. Over the years he has received several recognitions including Business Standard Banker of the Year 2020 and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
