Bata India Limited approves Radha Rajappa’s reappointment as Non Executive Independent Director from June 9 2026 subject to shareholder approval

Radha Rajappa has been reappointed as a Non Executive Independent Director on the board of Bata India Limited with effect from June 9 2026 subject to shareholder approval. The move highlights the company’s continued emphasis on experienced leadership and digital expertise at the board level.

Rajappa previously served as Executive Vice President at Mindtree for 16 years where she was part of the leadership team and played a key role in driving digital business initiatives. She has also held positions at global technology companies such as IBM and Microsoft during important phases of transformation in the technology sector.

She currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Zensar Technologies and KFin Technologies where she contributes to strategic planning and governance. In addition she is actively involved with early stage technology startups and innovation ecosystems.

Rajappa has also served as Executive Chairperson of industrial AI company Flutura where she supported its exit to Accenture. She is associated with Vunet Systems contributing to the development of AI driven operations solutions.

With over 30 years of experience in the information technology sector she has built expertise in digital transformation artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. Her work spans multiple industries including retail consumer packaged goods manufacturing travel and hospitality.
