About Prof. M. S. Sriram

Prof. Sriram is a distinguished academic and financial inclusion expert who serves as Professor at the Centre for Public Policy, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore. He previously taught at IIM Ahmedabad and served as a shareholder Director on the Board of Union Bank of India for six years. His research and writings—including the acclaimed “Inclusive Finance India Report”—have shaped policymaking in rural banking and microfinance. He completed an international program in information assurance from the University of Buffalo, advised the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and currently contributes as an external expert to the IT Strategy Committees of SIDBI and IFCI Ltd.
