Deepak Nitrite Limited appoints Maulik D. Mehta as Deputy Managing Director from May 9 2026 subject to shareholder approval
Maulik D. Mehta has been reappointed and elevated to the role of Deputy Managing Director at Deepak Nitrite Limited with effect from May 9 2026 subject to shareholder approval. Following the completion of his earlier tenure on May 8 2026 he has ceased to hold the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director.
Mehta assumed key leadership responsibilities during the COVID 19 pandemic where he focused on employee safety healthcare measures and protecting investor interests. Over his 18 year professional journey he has worked across business development product development human resources branding and external relations.
He has led several initiatives related to sustainability diversity and responsible manufacturing practices at Deepak Nitrite Limited. Mehta also contributed to the “Depend on Deepak” initiative which focused on strengthening governance systems transparency and operational processes to support the company’s long term growth strategy.
Mehta holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Liverpool and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from Columbia University. He has also completed the Owner President Management executive programme at Harvard Business School.
