Luxury brand strengthens financial leadership with seasoned global executive

Gucci has appointed Gianluca de Ficchy as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective December 1, 2025, following the departure of longtime finance chief Alberto Valente, who exited in September after nearly 17 years with the luxury fashion house. The leadership change reflects Gucci’s ongoing strategy to reinforce its financial direction and operational strength within the highly competitive global fashion industry.

De Ficchy brings extensive international experience, most recently serving as CEO of Renault’s Mobilise mobility division, overseeing automotive financing, car-sharing and EV charging solutions before leaving the company in October. His previous roles include senior positions at Nissan Motor Corporation, RCI Banque and FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Holding a degree in law and economics from Luiss Business School, he steps into the CFO role as Gucci part of the Kering group advances its long-term growth, financial innovation and leadership in the luxury fashion sector.
