Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited announces completion of Dr. Ravindra Kumar Ray’s tenure as Independent Director effective May 14 2026
Dr. Ravindra Kumar Ray has ceased to serve as Independent Director of Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited following the completion of his tenure with effect from May 14 2026.
Dr. Ray is widely known as an educationist political activist and social worker with extensive public service experience. He served as a Member of Parliament in the 16th Lok Sabha and before entering Parliament he was elected twice as a member of the Jharkhand Assembly.
He also held the position of Cabinet Minister in the Government of Jharkhand where he was involved in governance and public administration initiatives.
Dr. Ray completed his graduation from St. Columba’s College followed by a master’s degree from Ranchi University. He later earned a PhD from Vinoba Bhave University.
