Tata Power Company Limited appoints Deepak Kapoor as Non Executive Independent Director effective June 1 2026 subject to shareholder approval
Deepak Kapoor has been appointed as a Non Executive Independent Director and Additional Director of Tata Power Company Limited with effect from June 1 2026 subject to shareholder approval.
Kapoor spent more than 30 years with PwC India where he served as Chairman and Managing Director from 2007 to 2016. He became a Partner of the firm in 1991 and held several leadership responsibilities across multiple practice areas during his tenure.
His professional experience includes extensive work in audit and advisory services covering mergers and acquisitions transaction support and sector focused consulting. Kapoor has advised businesses across industries including consumer products manufacturing telecommunications technology healthcare entertainment and media in both Indian and international markets.
He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Kapoor is also a member of the Institute of Certified Fraud Examiners and brings expertise in governance risk management and financial oversight.
