Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited appoints Anupam Agarwal as Director of Finance effective June 3 2026
Anupam Agarwal has been appointed as Director of Finance at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited with effect from June 3 2026.
Agarwal joined Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited in 1990 as a Finance and Accounts Officer and has worked across key locations including Vadodara Dehradun Jorhat Mumbai and Delhi during his career with the organisation.
Before taking charge as Director of Finance at ONGC he served as Director of Finance at ONGC Videsh and also chaired ONGC Overseas Investment Ltd..
Throughout his career he has led major initiatives in corporate finance treasury management governance and international funding. His contributions include the establishment of ONGC’s Global Treasury Centre at GIFT City and the mobilisation of more than USD 3 billion to support overseas operations and investments.
Agarwal brings over 35 years of experience in the oil and gas sector with expertise spanning finance treasury taxation corporate planning and investment management. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI.
He holds a commerce degree and an MBA in Finance from Lucknow University.
