Raymond Lifestyle Limited names Satyaki Ghosh as CEO effective May 6 2026 while Shantilal Pokharna resigns as Director following superannuation
Satyaki Ghosh has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Raymond Lifestyle Limited with effect from May 6 2026. At the same time Shantilal Pokharna has stepped down from his role as Non Executive Non Independent Director of the company due to superannuation effective the same date.
Ghosh brings more than 25 years of experience across FMCG textiles retail and consumer businesses. Before joining Raymond Lifestyle Limited he was associated with the Aditya Birla Group where he served as CEO of Cellulosic Fashion Yarn at Grasim Industries. He also led the Domestic Textiles business and managed the Thai Acrylic Fibre operations overseeing manufacturing and multi country business functions.
Earlier in his career Ghosh spent more than seven years with L’Oréal India in senior leadership roles including Director of the Consumer Products Division where he managed brands such as L’Oréal Paris Garnier and Maybelline. His professional journey also includes leadership positions at PepsiCo India Spencer’s Retail GE Lighting and Burns Philp.
Pokharna currently serves as President of Group Commercial and Supply Chain at Raymond Group and has over 40 years of experience across finance sales marketing and commercial operations. He has been associated with the Raymond Group since 1981 and has worked in multiple leadership positions throughout his tenure.
He oversees group level commercial operations and supply chain functions and played a role in supporting the turnaround of the company’s apparel business during the pandemic period with a focus on operations and distribution management.
