Ajaykumar Vaghani steps down as Independent Director of Godrej Industries following the completion of his tenure effective June 22 2026.
Ajaykumar Vaghani has retired from the position of Independent Director at Godrej Industries Limited with effect from June 22 2026 following the completion of his tenure on the company’s Board.
Vaghani is the Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Hamilton Housewares, the company behind well known brands including MILTON, CLARO, TREO and SPOTZERO. Since founding the business in 2000, he has overseen its growth across the housewares kitchenware and tableware segments, building a portfolio of more than 6,000 products manufactured across four facilities in India.
An entrepreneur known for his focus on technology and product innovation, Vaghani has played a significant role in the development and launch of thousands of products over the past two decades. Under his leadership, Hamilton Housewares has achieved consistent growth and expanded its presence in the consumer products market.
Apart from his business leadership, Vaghani has been actively involved in industry and professional organisations. He has served on the Boards of the Young Presidents’ Organisation in Mumbai and South East Asia and is also a member of the President’s Council of Wesleyan University in the United States.
