Elgi Equipments Limited confirms resignation of Aruna Thangaraj effective April 14 2026 citing personal commitments
Aruna Thangaraj has resigned from her position as Independent Director of Elgi Equipments Limited with effect from April 14 2026. The resignation has been attributed to increased personal commitments and professional preoccupations.
Thangaraj currently serves as Managing Director of AGT Electronics Ltd. and brings extensive experience in training and consulting. She has previously worked as an instructional design and training consultant for oil and gas companies in Houston where she was involved in organisational intervention projects aimed at improving performance and efficiency.
She has also played an active role in industry engagement through her association with Confederation of Indian Industry. Thangaraj served as Convenor of the Indian Women Network for the Coimbatore zone and is currently Co Convenor of the ICT panel in the same region contributing to industry development and professional collaboration initiatives.
