Gland Pharma extends Naina Lal Kidwai’s tenure as Independent Director for a second five-year term starting May 17, 2026.
Gland Pharma Limited has approved the reappointment of Naina Lal Kidwai as an Independent Director for a second term of five years, effective May 17, 2026.
Naina Lal Kidwai currently serves as Chairperson and Senior Advisor at Rothschild & Co. India and advises global investors such as Advent International, TPG Rise, and Lightspeed Venture Partners India.
She is an Independent Director at Holcim and UPL Limited, and previously served as President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
Kidwai retired in 2015 as Executive Director at HSBC Asia Pacific and Chairman of HSBC India, and stepped down from Nestlé in 2018. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a recipient of the Padma Shri.
She is actively associated with global and Indian institutions and works on initiatives related to water, sanitation, environmental sustainability, and women’s participation. She has also authored books on leadership and sustainability.
