Panacea Biotec Limited has announced that Dr. (CA) Rajesh Jain will step down from his role as Non-Executive Independent Director, effective June 30, 2026, due to professional commitments.
Dr. Rajesh Jain currently serves as Chairman of the Biotechnology Committee at the Confederation of Indian Industry and leads the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council. He is also Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Committee at the Centre of Innovative and Applied Bioprocess and a Board Member at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research.
In addition, he is associated with PanEra Biotec and Adveta Power. Over the course of his career, he has been actively involved in initiatives related to vaccine access through global platforms.
With more than 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, Dr. Jain holds over 50 patents in vaccines, drug development, and related technologies. He has also been recognised among leading global industry figures by World Pharmaceutical Frontiers.
