SAL Steel Limited Redesignates Mahesh K. Agarwal As CMD And Kaustubh Agarwal As MD

SAL Steel Limited has announced a leadership realignment marked by a planned generational transition with Mahesh Kumar Agarwal handing over day to day operational leadership to his son Kaustubh Agarwal.

Mahesh Kumar Agarwal has been redesignated from Whole Time Director to Chairman and Managing Director with effect from February 14 2026. Kaustubh Agarwal has been redesignated from Whole Time Director to Managing Director with effect from the same date subject to shareholder approval.

As part of the board changes Anil Kumar Singh has been appointed as Whole Time Director as an Additional Director effective February 14 2026 subject to shareholder approval. He replaces Babulal M. Singhal who has resigned due to personal and unavoidable reasons with effect from February 14 2026. Rajesh Mangal has been appointed as Non Executive Non Independent Director as an Additional Director effective February 14 2026 subject to shareholder approval.

Further Devilal J. Shah has been appointed as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer and designated as Key Managerial Personnel with effect from February 14 2026. He replaces Radhika P. Soni who has resigned to pursue opportunities outside the organisation with effect from the same date.

Mahesh Kumar Agarwal brings over four decades of experience in the mining and steel sector. He has held leadership responsibilities across operations business development and organisational planning. His work spans production management resource planning and strategic execution and he has played a key role in supporting the company’s expansion and strengthening internal management processes. He is a science graduate with extensive industry exposure.

Kaustubh Agarwal is a mining engineer with more than five years of experience in the mining and steel industry. He has been involved in project level operations production planning and process management. His focus includes improving efficiency by combining established industry practices with technology driven systems and supporting performance targets through operational monitoring and coordination.

Anil Kumar Singh is a techno commercial professional with over 35 years of experience across steel automobile and textile sectors. He has previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Tambo Steels Uganda and as President at Sree Metaliks Limited. His background covers integrated steel plant operations project execution and a wide range of functional responsibilities including finance logistics human resources administration and commercial operations.

Rajesh Mangal is a Chartered Accountant with more than 28 years of leadership experience across manufacturing EPC and infrastructure sectors. His expertise includes corporate finance fundraising treasury audit digital finance transformation and governance. He has held senior leadership roles in listed and unlisted organisations and has worked closely with banks financial institutions and investors on capital structuring and business growth initiatives.

Devilal J. Shah is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and has over seven years of experience in corporate secretarial practice. His work focuses on compliance management regulatory filings corporate governance and company law advisory.
