Somraj Roy, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at CEAT Limited, has resigned from his role effective January 14 2026 to explore opportunities within the group.
Roy brings over 25 years of experience in human resources and has worked across a range of reputed organisations. His previous leadership roles include positions at KEC International Larsen and Toubro Reliance and Transpek Industries. Across these organisations he has handled corporate HR heavy engineering defence and organisational excellence functions.
His professional expertise covers talent management capability building recruitment HR policy development and employee engagement initiatives. He has worked extensively in generalist HR roles supporting business growth and organisational effectiveness.
Roy holds certifications from the University of Michigan Stephen M Ross School of Business through its Senior Leadership Programs and has completed Executive Programs in Human Resources Management from IIM Calcutta. His experience and leadership have contributed significantly to strengthening people practices across the organisations he has served.
