Arun Kumar Singh has been reappointed as Chairman of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), following approval from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in consultation with the Department of Public Enterprises and the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Arun Kumar Singh was first appointed as ONGC Chairman in December 2022. A seasoned leader with nearly 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he previously served as Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), where he held leadership roles across retail, LPG, pipelines, and supply chain operations. He also contributed to international exploration through Bharat PetroResources Ltd. Singh is a mechanical engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology, Patna.
