Spark Minda has appointed Supratik Roy as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Emerging Business division, as indicated on his LinkedIn profile.
Supratik Roy brings more than 25 years of experience across the automotive and electronics sectors. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Director at Magneti Marelli UM Electronic Systems and as a Business Head with CEO-level responsibilities at Cosmo Ferrites Ltd. He has also held leadership roles at Lumax Industries.
In his new role, Roy will lead the strategic roadmap for Spark Minda’s Emerging Business division, driving business planning, customer engagement, and financial performance. He will oversee R&D, manufacturing operations, talent development, and process optimisation to support the company’s growth priorities.
An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, Roy will play a key role in advancing the company’s focus on electrification, automotive electronics, and next-generation mobility solutions.
