Ajoy Chawla has been appointed as Managing Director (MD) of Titan Company Limited, commencing from January 1, 2026, subject to the approval of shareholders.
Ajoy Chawla, a veteran of the Tata Group, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Titan Company Limited, effective January 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval.
Chawla joined the Tata Administrative Services (TAS) in 1990 and began his journey with Titan’s finance department in 1991. Over the past three decades, he has held diverse leadership roles across multiple business units. From 2013 to 2019, he served as Chief Strategy Officer, where he spearheaded business incubation initiatives and played a pivotal role in building the Fragrances and Taneira ventures.
Since October 2019, Chawla has led Titan’s Jewellery Division as CEO, overseeing a period of strong growth that saw the business triple its sales and profits, further cementing Titan’s leadership in the Indian jewellery market. Earlier in his career, he also contributed to the Watches Division, handling key functions in commercial, sales, retail, and supply chain management, and later leading accessories, licensed brands, and the Titan SBU.
