Sep 19, 2025

Arsenal Football Club has confirmed the appointment of Richard Garlick as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. Garlick, who first joined Arsenal in 2021 as Director of Football Operations and later served as Managing Director, now steps into the club’s top leadership role.

Alongside this leadership change, Arsenal’s board of directors has been restructured. Tim Key has stepped down, while Kelly Blaha and Otto Maly of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment have joined as Non-Executive Directors. In addition, Dave Steiner, a former advisor, and long-time Arsenal contributor Ben Winston, an acclaimed producer and director, have been appointed to the board.

Speaking on the changes, Co-Chair Josh Kroenke said: “Rich has made an enormous impact on all fronts as we strive to win major trophies, remain financially sustainable, and keep our supporters at the heart of everything we do. These board additions bring diverse expertise and fresh perspectives to help Arsenal achieve its ambitions.”

Arsenal’s next major test comes this weekend with a Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, September 21, 2025.
