Avadh Sugar & Energy Limited has announced the appointment of Chandra Shekhar Nopany as Managing Director (MD) and Co-Chairperson, effective September 1, 2025, following shareholders’ approval.
A renowned industrialist and business leader, Nopany brings extensive experience across diverse sectors including sugar, tea, textiles, shipping, fertilisers, and chemicals. Under his leadership, these industries have witnessed significant growth, expansion, and diversification.
He has also played an active role in industry associations, serving as President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), where he contributed to advancing Indian industry and enhancing its global footprint.
Nopany is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University, USA, equipping him with strong financial and strategic expertise.
