Experienced former BNY executive brings 35+ years of international banking knowledge to enhance firm's growth and strategy
South Street Securities Holdings appointed Andrea Pfenning, a former Global COO of BNY, to the board of directors. Pfenning brings over three decades of international banking and leadership experience to the position.
At BNY, she was President and Chief Operating Officer of BNY Government Securities Services Corp., where she was responsible for U.S. government securities and triparty settlement services. She also oversaw significant broker-dealer relationships in global client management and gained international experience serving institutions in Austria and Switzerland from the Frankfurt office of BNY.
South Street CEO James Tabacchi greeted the appointment, saying Pfenning’s extensive experience will be critical as the company continues to build its capital markets and technology presence while preserving a diversified platform.
Pfenning, who also consults to BioTone and IFI Network and is a member of Golden Seeds, added she is excited to work with South Street’s leadership to help shape strategy, build stronger client service, and drive long-term growth.
