Yes Bank Limited has announced that Tushar Patankar, Chief Risk Officer, has resigned from his role to pursue his career aspirations. Patankar tendered his resignation on November 12, 2025 and has been relieved from his responsibilities with effect from January 21, 2026.
Patankar is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He joined Yes Bank in November 2023 and brought extensive experience in risk management and financial services leadership. Prior to this role he served as Group Chief Risk Officer at L&T Financial Services.
Earlier in his career he worked with ANZ as Head of Client Portfolio Management for Corporate and Institutional Banking in India. His professional background also includes senior roles at Bajaj Finserv and IDFC First Bank where he was involved in risk oversight and banking operations across multiple portfolios.
