Suzlon Energy CFO Himanshu Mody Steps Down After Over Two Decades in Corporate Finance

Reports confirm that Himanshu Mody has resigned from his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Suzlon Energy, ending his tenure with the renewable energy major.

Suzlon Energy Ltd., one of India’s leading renewable energy companies, has announced the exit of Himanshu Mody from his position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). According to reports, Mody has stepped down from the role after contributing to the company’s financial leadership since May 2021.

Before joining Suzlon, Mody was the Group Executive Director at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL), where he focused on corporate governance, capital allocation, tax efficiency, and fund management. Earlier, he spent nearly 20 years with the Essel Group, eventually becoming its Group CFO, where he oversaw finance and strategic operations across media, infrastructure, and education sectors.
