Sterlite Group has named Sumil Mathur as Group Chief Financial Officer overseeing finance functions across Sterlite Electric Resonia Limited and Serentica Renewables.
Sumil Mathur previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at EMAAR India where he contributed to post demerger planning and asset monetisation initiatives. Over the course of his career he has held senior leadership roles at HCL Technologies Indus Towers Bharti Airtel and JCB India gaining experience across multiple industries.
In his new role at Sterlite Group he will oversee financial strategy governance and capital management across group companies. His responsibilities include strengthening financial processes supporting risk management and aligning capital planning with business growth. Mathur brings nearly three decades of experience spanning infrastructure real estate telecommunications and manufacturing sectors with a focus on project execution and financial management.
