Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited has announced the appointment of Sreedhar Krishna Menon as Chief Financial Officer with effect from March 1 2026. He will succeed D. Muthukumaran who will be stepping down from the role.
Sreedhar Krishna Menon brings more than three decades of experience across finance and accounting functions. Over the course of his career he has held senior leadership roles at Pennar Group AFL Private Limited Bharti Airtel Limited and AdaniConnex. In these positions he was responsible for leading finance teams overseeing accounting and compliance processes and supporting business operations across diverse sectors and organisational structures.
Menon is a Cost Accountant and a management graduate and has also completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School. His professional experience spans financial planning execution corporate finance accounting and business support functions making him well positioned to lead the finance function at Adani Ports.
D. Muthukumaran has an extensive background in finance and investment leadership. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at ReNew Power between August 2019 and July 2022. Prior to that he was the Chief Executive Officer at Aditya Birla Private Equity from September 2014 to June 2019. He also spent over twelve years as Head of Group Corporate Finance at Aditya Birla Management Corporation and began his career in corporate finance at Lazard.
Muthukumaran is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has held senior leadership roles across leading finance and investment organisations.
