Mumbai — Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) has appointed Sangram Kumar Mishra as its Chairman and Managing Director (CMD).
Mishra succeeds Yogendra Prasad Shukla, Director (Finance), who held additional charge of the CMD role for a three‑month tenure.
He brings extensive industry expertise and leadership from the petrochemical and energy sectors, most recently serving as Project Manager at Engineers India Ltd. (EIL). Throughout his career, he has been involved with power plant operations, EPC projects, and petroleum/gas infrastructure development.
Before his tenure at EIL, Mishra worked as Deputy Manager (Power Plant) at Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd. and as an Engineer at MECON Ltd. His technical background spans multiple engineering disciplines, including boiler systems, power plant operations, and industrial project execution.
An alumnus of Utkal University with an engineering degree, Mishra is recognized for his hands‑on approach to project management and operational excellence.
