Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) has appointed Sangram Kumar Mishra as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), succeeding Yogendra Prasad Shukla, who held additional charge for three months.
Hindustan Organic Chemicals Limited (HOCL) has officially announced the appointment of Sangram Kumar Mishra as its Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). This follows Yogendra Prasad Shukla, Director (Finance), relinquishing his additional charge of CMD after a brief three-month tenure.
Mishra, who previously served as Project Manager at Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), brings with him extensive industry expertise and leadership experience in the petrochemical and energy sectors. Throughout his career, he has been associated with power plant operations, EPC projects, petroleum, and gas infrastructure development.
Before his tenure at EIL, Mishra worked as Deputy Manager (Power Plant) at Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd. and as an Engineer at MECON Ltd. His diverse technical background spans over multiple engineering disciplines, including boiler systems, power plant operations, and industrial project execution.
An alumnus of Utkal University, Mishra holds an engineering degree and is recognized for his hands-on approach to project management and operational excellence. His appointment is expected to strengthen HOCL’s strategic and operational leadership as the company continues to focus on sustainable chemical manufacturing and process innovation.
