Hindustan Zinc Limited announces resignation of Sandeep Modi as Chief Financial Officer effective May 30 2026
Sandeep Modi has resigned from his role as Chief Financial Officer of Hindustan Zinc Limited with effect from May 30 2026. He is stepping down to explore career opportunities outside the organisation.
Modi brings close to two decades of experience across metals mining and power sectors. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd. and Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd. and also held the role of Deputy CFO at Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd..
He currently serves as a Nominee Director at Serentica Renewables Ltd. and has been recognised through platforms such as BW 40 Under 40 and ET Great Manager. He has also participated as a speaker at various industry forums.
Modi is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in commerce with specialisation in tax statistics finance and costing from Jai Narain Vyas University.
