Ramesh Chandra Maheshwari has stepped down from his role as Independent Director and Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of Atul Auto Limited with effect from December 31 2025 citing personal reasons and ongoing professional commitments.
Maheshwari brings extensive leadership experience from the manufacturing and engineering sectors. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Texmaco Limited until January 2010 following which he held the positions of Executive Vice Chairman and Executive Director at the same company for a brief period.
Since September 2010 he has been associated with Texmaco Rail and Engineering Limited as Executive Vice Chairman where he has played a key role in guiding operational performance and long term strategic planning. His professional background also includes a tenure as Non Executive Director at India Steamship Company Limited.
With a career spanning corporate governance financial oversight and legal and operational leadership Maheshwari has contributed to board level decision making across multiple industrial organisations. His resignation marks the conclusion of his independent director responsibilities at Atul Auto Limited.
