The Board has approved the appointment of Mahesh Girdhar as an Additional Director in the Independent category for a term of five years beginning December 10, 2025, subject to approval from shareholders.
The Board has confirmed the induction of Mahesh Girdhar as an Independent Director for a five-year period that will run from December 10, 2025 to December 9, 2030. The decision follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and will take effect upon shareholder approval.
Girdhar currently leads two organisations in the environment and integrated resource management space, where he oversees long-term strategy and business performance. With more than three decades of international experience, he brings strong leadership capabilities across the environment sector, renewable energy, fertilisers, seeds, and crop protection.
Throughout his career, he has held senior roles in well-known agribusiness and crop science companies where he guided strategic growth and operational transformation. His approach blends entrepreneurial thinking with a strong focus on people development, helping large enterprises enhance productivity and drive innovation.
He has also contributed to policy discussions in collaboration with several national and global industry associations focused on green energy, fertilisers, biotechnology, and seed development. His participation has supported the advancement of innovation-led practices and strengthened partnerships across agriculture and sustainability driven sectors.
Girdhar holds a postgraduate qualification in agriculture from a reputed agricultural university in Haryana and has completed an Advanced Management Programme from a leading global business school.
