Berger Paints India Ltd. announced with deep sorrow the passing of Rajesh Kumar Tewari, Vice President (VP) and Group Head of Manufacturing, on September 13, 2025.
Tewari began his career as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Gajra Gears Pvt. Ltd. and went on to build a distinguished career in the manufacturing sector. Before joining Berger Paints, he served as Factory Head at Insignia Ltd., Tanzania, and was associated with Alpine Industries Ltd., Mafatlal Industries Ltd., and Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd.
An alumnus of Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, Vidisha, with a B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, and an MBA in Operations from the National Institute of Management, Mumbai, Tewari was widely respected for his leadership and expertise in manufacturing operations.
His passing marks a profound loss to Berger Paints India and the industry at large.
