Sanjay Suri has been promoted from Whole Time Director to Managing Director of Morepen Laboratories effective July 1 2026 subject to shareholder approval.
Morepen Laboratories Limited has elevated Sanjay Suri from Whole Time Director to the position of Managing Director with effect from July 1 2026. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval within the prescribed timeline. In his new role, he will jointly lead the company’s management and operations alongside his brother, Sushil Suri, who serves as Chairman and Managing Director.
Sanjay Suri currently holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry Himachal Pradesh. With nearly 38 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he has played a key role in the leadership and growth of Morepen Laboratories.
During his tenure, Suri has contributed significantly to strengthening the company’s active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing capabilities and enhancing regulatory compliance across major international markets including the United States, Europe and Asia.
Under his leadership, Morepen Laboratories has filed more than 170 patents and expanded its global footprint to over 80 countries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Punjab University.
