Former LIC Managing Director Mini Ipe has been appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of PTC India Financial Services Limited, effective October 5, 2025, subject to shareholder approval.
PTC India Financial Services Limited (PFS) has announced the appointment of Mini Ipe as an Independent Director, effective October 5, 2025, pending shareholder approval.
Ipe, the former Managing Director (MD) of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), brings over 37 years of leadership experience in the insurance and financial services sector. During her tenure at LIC, she held several key executive and board-level positions, overseeing strategic portfolios such as investments, claims, finance, product development, regulatory compliance, and policy direction.
A trailblazer in the insurance industry, she made history as the first woman to serve as Zonal Manager in charge of LIC’s South-Central Zone in Hyderabad. Her leadership has been widely recognized, including her inclusion among “India’s Top 100 Women in Finance” (2000) by the Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI).
In addition to her new role at PTC India Financial Services, Ipe currently serves on the boards of PTC India Ltd., Axis Bank Ltd., Avantel Ltd., and Life Insurance Corporation (International) BSC (c). Her appointment reinforces PFS’s commitment to diversity, governance excellence, and strategic financial growth.
