KPMG U.S. Appoints James Kroeker as Independent Director on Its Board

James (Jim) Kroeker joins the KPMG U.S. Board of Directors as Independent Director, succeeding Roel Campos, who completed his five-year tenure.

KPMG U.S. has announced the appointment of James (Jim) Kroeker as an Independent Director on its U.S. Board of Directors, effective immediately. He succeeds Roel Campos, who recently concluded his five-year term on the Board.

Kroeker brings a distinguished track record in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. He has previously served as Vice Chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and as Chief Accountant at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he played a pivotal role in shaping accounting and auditing standards.

In addition, Kroeker held senior leadership roles at Deloitte, advising global regulators and standard setters on matters related to financial reporting, audit practices, and corporate governance. His expertise will further strengthen KPMG U.S.’s commitment to regulatory compliance, transparency, and high-quality audit standards.
