Former Adani Energy Solutions finance executive Kunjal Mehta takes charge as Chief Financial Officer of Jindal Stainless following Board approval.
Jindal Stainless Limited has appointed Kunjal Mehta as its Chief Financial Officer after receiving approval from the company’s Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Jindal Stainless, Mehta served as Chief Financial Officer at Adani Energy Solutions Limited. During his career, he has also held senior finance leadership positions at Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited, and Essar Steel India Limited.
With more than 25 years of experience, Mehta has worked across multiple industries including steel, power, ports and logistics, and technology. His expertise covers financial strategy, capital allocation, treasury management, risk management, and corporate finance.
In his new role, Mehta will lead Jindal Stainless’ finance function and oversee key areas such as treasury operations, capital management, financial planning, investor relations, and enterprise risk management.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
