The Board of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company has approved the reappointment of Sankaran Naren as Executive Director for a further term of two years. The renewed term will be effective from July 1 2026 and will run until June 30 2028.
Naren has been associated with ICICI Prudential AMC since 2004 and has played a key role in shaping the organisation’s long term investment philosophy. He was reappointed in 2024 as Chief Investment Officer and Executive Director and continues to be a central figure in the company’s investment strategy and leadership framework.
In a separate board decision the company approved the reappointment of Antony Jacob as an Independent Director. His new term will span five years starting July 1 2026 and concluding on May 31 2031.
Alongside these appointments ICICI Prudential AMC also announced a change in its senior management team. Ankur Kagrana has been appointed as Senior Management Personnel and designated as Chief Risk Officer with effect from January 20 2026. As a result Sumit Gupta will cease to be part of the Senior Management Personnel effective January 19 2026.
