Gopalakrishnan Soundarajan, Non-Executive Director, has been redesignated as Chairman of Thomas Cook (India) Limited and the Board, effective November 12, 2025.
Gopalakrishnan Soundarajan currently serves as the Managing Director (MD) of Hamblin Watsa Investment Counsel Ltd. Prior to this, he spent over 17 years at ICICI Lombard, where he served as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and was a key member of the Investment Committee, overseeing strategy and portfolio management.
He also sits on the Boards of FIH Mauritius Investments Ltd., FIH Private Investments Ltd., and the Primary Real Estate Investment Fund.
Soundarajan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Madras and is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the CFA Institute, USA.
