The Board of DP World has approved the appointment of Essa Kazim as Chairman and Yuvraj Narayan as Group Chief Executive Officer. Both appointments take effect immediately following the resignation of Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem from his roles as Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Essa Kazim currently serves as Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre and is Chairman of Bourse Dubai. He has held several senior positions across national financial institutions and brings experience in financial policy economic administration and market infrastructure leadership.
Yuvraj Narayan is a Chartered Accountant who joined DP World in 2004 and was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in 2005. He most recently served as Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Earlier in his career he worked with ANZ Group and Salalah Port Services in Oman. He also serves on the Boards of HDFC International Life and Re Company Ltd. and Dubai Financial Market.
