Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited has appointed Dr. Ram Jass Yadav as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director with effect from January 3 2026.
Dr. Yadav began his banking career in 1984 with Bank of Baroda and progressed through leadership roles to become Chief General Manager. Over the years he has served on the boards of nine financial institutions and was appointed as Executive Director of Punjab and Sind Bank by the Government of India. His career reflects extensive involvement in institutional governance and large scale banking operations.
With more than four decades of experience Dr. Yadav brings deep expertise across retail banking corporate banking treasury credit risk management compliance governance and operations. His professional journey spans rural metro and international banking environments where he has led business transformation initiatives and built strong operational frameworks.
He is currently serving as Professor of Practice at Indira Gandhi University Rewari where he mentors and guides the next generation of banking professionals. Known for his focus on digital transformation strategic planning and organisation building he has consistently driven performance improvement and sustainable growth.
Dr. Yadav is a CAIIB All India Topper and holds qualifications as an MBA Company Secretary and Cost and Management Accountant. He also holds a doctoral degree in Banking and Finance which strengthens his academic and professional contribution to the financial services sector.
