Dinesh Garg has been appointed as the Company Secretary of REC Limited, effective December 1, 2025, succeeding J.S. Amitabh who retired from the role on the same date.
Dinesh Garg brings over 20 years of rich professional experience across the public and private sectors. Before joining REC, he held key roles including Manager and Company Secretary at HCL Infosystems Ltd., Company Secretary and Manager – Legal at NDTV, and Head of Legal and Secretarial at Evinix Accessories Ltd.
Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to corporate governance, regulatory and statutory compliance, board administration and stakeholder relations. Garg is a commerce and law graduate from Delhi University, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and holds master’s degrees in law and business administration (finance).
