Chandan Mukherji has resigned from his role as Head of Strategy and Marketing Communications at Nestlé.

Nestlé has announced that Chandan Mukherji has stepped down from his position as Head of Strategy and Marketing Communications. His departure marks the end of a significant phase in the company’s leadership journey in brand strategy and consumer engagement.

During his tenure Mukherji played a key role in shaping strategic direction through deep consumer and marketplace understanding. He previously served as Global Head of Consumer and Marketplace Insights where he travelled extensively across more than 35 countries to study evolving consumer behaviour and address complex business challenges. His work focused on translating insights into actionable strategies that supported growth across diverse markets.

In his role with Nestlé India as Director for Strategy Marketing and Communication he worked closely with multiple product teams to align brand positioning with consumer expectations. He helped build integrated marketing approaches that strengthened brand relevance and improved communication effectiveness across categories.

Before joining Nestlé Mukherji held senior roles in consumer insights and brand management at a leading multinational fast moving consumer goods company. Across his career he has consistently focused on combining data driven insights with creative strategy to drive business performance.

Mukherji holds a master’s degree in management studies from Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani. His contribution to Nestlé’s strategic and marketing functions has been widely recognised and his experience in consumer research and brand leadership continues to be valued across the industry.
