Walmart Inc. has appointed Shishir Mehrotra, Chief Executive Officer of Superhuman, to its Board of Directors with immediate effect. He will serve on the Compensation and Management Development Committee and the Technology and eCommerce Committee.

Mehrotra is a seasoned technology leader with more than 25 years of experience in building and scaling platforms used by millions of users worldwide. He is the founder of Coda, a collaborative productivity platform, and has held senior leadership positions at YouTube where he served as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Earlier in his career, he worked at Microsoft as Director of Programme Management, contributing to large scale product development initiatives.
In addition to leading Superhuman, Mehrotra currently serves as a Board Member at Spotify. His career is marked by a strong track record of creating category defining products and driving user focused innovation across global technology companies.
Mehrotra holds dual bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His deep expertise in product strategy platform development and technology leadership is expected to add significant value to Walmart’s board as the company continues to expand its eCommerce and digital capabilities.
