Governance and advisory veteran Bobby Kanubhai Parikh retires from the Board of Biocon after completing his term as Independent Director.
Bobby Kanubhai Parikh has completed his tenure as an Independent Director of Biocon Limited and retired from the company’s Board with effect from July 22, 2026.
Parikh is the Founder of Bobby Parikh Associates and Co Founder of BMR Advisors. Over the course of his career, he has held several leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of EY India and Country Managing Partner of Arthur Andersen.
He has been actively associated with various trade and business organisations and currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Infosys Limited, Indostar Capital Finance Limited, and Biocon Biologics Limited.
With more than three decades of professional experience, Parikh has advised corporates, private equity investors, banking groups, investment banks, brokerage firms, and fund managers. He has also worked with regulators and policymakers on the development of regulatory frameworks and corporate governance practices.
Parikh is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
