Bank executive and chief financial officer worked more than 15 years for AU Small Finance Bank growth
AU Small Finance Bank regretted to announce the demise of its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Vimal Jain, who passed away on September 10, 2025, after suffering from cardiac arrest.
Jain was associated with the bank since 2010 and had been instrumental in the finance and accounts function throughout his 15-year tenure of association. He was a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years of professional experience in the field of finance, accounts, budgeting, and business planning. He was admirably known for his dedication, leadership, and very high learning orientation.
He was an active participant in the successful launch of AU Small Finance Bank and contributed significantly toward the development of its healthy financial and operational system. Jain’s passing away is a significant loss for the company and the banking community.
