Ashok Sharma has been appointed as an Independent Director and Additional Director of Rallis India Limited with effect from February 10 2026 subject to shareholder approval.
Ashok Sharma brings more than three decades of leadership experience across strategy operations and business excellence roles in Indian and multinational organisations. He was associated with Mahindra and Mahindra from 1998 to 2024 where he held senior responsibilities across sales marketing quality strategy and organisational excellence. He also served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Mahindra Agri Solutions from 2011 to 2023 and played a key role in strengthening its agri business operations.
Sharma is a seasoned business leader with deep expertise in operational leadership transformation initiatives and long term value creation. His career reflects strong exposure to both manufacturing and agri focused enterprises along with experience in driving scale and performance improvement.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute and a master’s degree in management studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies Mumbai. He has completed executive education and leadership programmes at IIMs ISB Harvard INSEAD Yale and IMD Switzerland. He is also a certified Business Coach from the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches.
