Shell expands Asha P. Pillai’s responsibilities with her appointment as CFO of Shell Recharge Solutions and Finance Manager for eMobility Technology
Asha P. Pillai has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Shell Recharge Solutions and Finance Manager for eMobility Technology at Shell strengthening the company’s leadership across its electric mobility and charging infrastructure business.
Most recently Pillai served as Global Planning and Appraisal Manager for Information and Digital Technology where she managed a USD 4 billion investment budget and led a team of 40 professionals overseeing investment planning and operating performance.
Earlier she served as CFO of the Hazira Group of Companies and played a key role in the transition of a joint venture into a Shell operated business. During her tenure she contributed to financial strategy governance and operational integration initiatives.
Over the years Pillai has held several leadership positions at Shell including Commercial Finance Advisor for Digital Retail Finance Manager for India and Business Development Manager for Non Fuel Revenues. Her experience spans finance planning digital transformation business operations and strategic growth initiatives across multiple business units.
With nearly two decades at Shell she has built expertise in investment management financial planning and technology driven business transformation. Before joining the company she worked at Whirlpool of India in corporate planning and analysis roles.
In her new position Pillai will support the growth of Shell’s electric mobility business while overseeing financial operations and strategic initiatives related to charging infrastructure and eMobility technology.
