Reliance Power Limited has announced the appointment of Arup Ashok Gupta as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, effective October 11, 2025.
Additionally, Neeraj Parakh, Executive Director (ED) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), has been assigned the additional charge of interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company.
Gupta is a seasoned human resources (HR) leader with over four decades of experience spanning multiple industries. For the past 16 years, he has been a key part of the Reliance Group, leading initiatives in HR strategy, leadership hiring, organisational design, and workforce planning across various business verticals.
Prior to joining Reliance, he held senior HR positions at Diligent Media Corporation Ltd. (DNA), The Times of India Group (BCCL), ACC Ltd., and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd. Gupta holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Microbiology) and a Master’s in Management Studies (Marketing) from the University of Mumbai.
