Aditya Swamy has been elevated to the role of Managing Director (MD) at Google Play, marking a new chapter in his leadership journey with the company.
Swamy previously served as Regional Director for India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand for over a year, where he played a key role in driving growth and partnerships across diverse markets. Before joining Google, he was Senior Director at Flipkart and spent nearly a decade at Viacom18 Media Pvt. Ltd., leading strategic initiatives across media and entertainment. He also worked for eight years at The Coca-Cola Company, managing a range of business portfolios across functions.
Since joining Google Play in April 2017 as Industry Head, Large Customer Sales, Swamy has held multiple leadership roles, contributing to the platform’s expansion across digital ecosystems. His professional experience spans technology, e-commerce, media, and consumer goods, reflecting a strong track record of building and scaling businesses across sectors.
