Flipkart’s Group CFO Sriram Venkataraman plans to exit in the coming months as the company moves closer to its anticipated IPO.
Flipkart Group Chief Financial Officer Sriram Venkataraman is set to step down in the coming months, as the company prepares for a potential public listing. A successor has not yet been announced.
Sriram Venkataraman joined Flipkart in 2015 and has led the company’s finance function through a phase of growth, expansion, and organizational restructuring.
A seasoned finance professional, he has experience across corporate finance and treasury functions. During his tenure at Flipkart, he also served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and held roles such as CFO of its Commerce Platform.
Prior to joining Flipkart, he worked at Hindustan Unilever, where he held positions including General Manager – Finance, Director – Corporate Finance, and Treasury for Asia Pacific, as well as Finance Director.
He holds an MBA in Finance from Indian School of Business and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
