Dr. Jitendra Gangwal has been appointed as Vice President of Research and Development and Senior Management Personnel at Gland Pharma Limited with effect from February 18 2026.
Dr. Gangwal brings more than 24 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and formulation development. Before joining Gland Pharma Limited he worked with the National Chemical Laboratory as well as major pharmaceutical companies including Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Alkem Laboratories and FDC Limited. Over the course of his career he has contributed to research programmes and product development across multiple dosage forms.
He has led the development of more than 55 pharmaceutical products covering injectable ophthalmic inhalation nasal and oral drug delivery systems. His work includes regulatory filings under 505 b 2 and Abbreviated New Drug Application pathways along with the development of complex formulations such as parenterals nanocrystals liposomes microspheres depot systems peptides metal complexes and polymer based delivery platforms.
Dr. Gangwal holds a PhD from the National Chemical Laboratory Pune and has progressed from scientific research roles to leadership positions in formulation research and development.
